What about paper?

Man has been leaving his mark since the dawn of time, through his drawings, writings and the press, but they are less and less visible.

So I was interested in the press, which is trying to survive in the digital age, and what does it offer us? In my own way, I wanted to leave a trace of what it sends me in terms of content, visuals and messages.

Starting with the media themselves, I developed codes to transcribe my sensations before and after reading, by tearing, cutting and crumpling the paper. Codes to express the density or poverty of the subjects treated, the depth or superficiality of the content, or the calm or violence of the words and visuals. Among them: Le Canard Enchainé, Charlie hebdo, Elle, L’Express, Le Figaro, Libération, Le Monde, Le Monde mag, Le Nouvel Observateur, Paris Match, Le Point, Télérama, Voici.
